Yes, 18. You must show a valid drivers license to rent the bikes.

The bikes are rated to hold up to 300 lbs.

The maximum speed the bikes can go is about 30 mph. The motor is 750W.

There are three ways to use the an electic bike:

1) Just pedaling like a normal bike without any assistance.

2) Using pedal assist. This is basically pedaling with a little help. You decide how fast you go while using your feet. 

3) Using the throttle. There is a half turn throttle. You do not have to pedal at all when using the throttle. 

Yes, helmets are REQUIRED and provided free of charge.

If you have your own helmet that you want to use please have it with you at drop off.  Proof of personal helmet is required to bypass a rental helmet.
